Here is a wonderful article on introverts written in 2003 by Johnathan Rouch and posted in The Atlantic magazine. This explains it so well.

Extroverts, take note! Introverts are not weird, anti-social or need to be “fixed.” Just leave us alone and we’ll be fine. :)

  1. Let’s hear it for us introverts! I have noticed that when we quiet ones speak it is because we have something to say.

    • Exactly, Strawberry! Sometimes I think I might just print this out and hand it to my roommate’s girlfriend, who keeps making snarky remarks about how “shy” I am, just because I don’t feel like coming out and socializing with them when I get home from work!!
